Brunswick Forest

Spending some time with Mom & Dad this week. Plus Dad & I drove up to NYC to see a pain Dr. And find out more about mirror therapy. Dad is now building me a mirror device to take home with me so I can use it everyday in hopes of re-training my brain. Mirror therapy will be used to train my brain into thinking my left arm is still there, and in turn that will hopefully lower the intense pain that I sometimes have.

Hope to see my kids today!

Well, it's another weekend almost over. Watched some Olympics, cut some grass, went to Church, a relatively quiet weekend. Not knowing if I'll be able to see the kids is the hardest part of every single day. Today I'll drive over and see if they're home, and hopefully spend some time with them on the porch. Unfortunately the kids have been put in the middle and my time with them is almost non existant. I just want to be with my kids, is that too much to ask? Hopefully I'll never fall in Love again, because I don't want to have to go through this ever again.

Lavallette Beach

Here we are at the beach. Brian & Sarah have the best time with their cousins Danny & John. Andrew, only 2, also had a great time at the water. Here are some pictures from the beautiful Lavallette beach.

Hi all. We're up for one of our yearly visits to Lavallette, NJ. to visit Oma & Pop Pop. And of course we can't wait to see Chris, Rose and the boys! We arrived here a few days ago and will stay for arould 13 nights. The Aquarium in Point Pleasant, and "Insectropolis" are just 2 of the many places we will see while in Jersey.

A Day at the Barn...

Lets get dirty!

Another triple-crown day at the barn. Then again, any day at the barn getting dirty and dusty is a really good, productive day. My little girl who just turned 6 is now already asking Daddy for her own horse. I thought there would be more time before I would hear those words! I'm not quite sure how to handle this one. We'll see.......one day at a time so they say.

Original Martin Family Kids

Well, I found this old picture of the original Martin kids and though it was worthy of a post. If I had to guess I'd say it was taken in the late seventies at Good Shepherd Lutheran. Back in the simpler days when life was so easy. No complications, or so we thought. Lisa is wearing something that Mom made I'm sure!
